ARTIST STATEMENT

My artistic journey is a profound exploration of the human experience within the context of my Indian heritage. Born and raised in a culture defined by rapid growth and relentless pursuit of perfection, I grapple with the complexities of identity formation amidst societal pressures. My work serves as a bridge between the past and present, navigating the tensions between tradition and modernity.

Drawing from my deep-seated passions for cultural anthropology and human psychology, I delve into the underlying motivations and societal constructs that shape individual identities. Through introspection and artistic expression, I seek to unravel the intricacies of human behaviour and the impact of cultural conditioning.

My work confronts themes that are raw and unsettling, inviting viewers to confront discomfort head-on. Through immersive live performances and multidisciplinary installations, I challenge preconceived notions of identity and invite audiences to confront the complexities of their own existence.

My practice serves as a universal exploration of the human condition, transcending cultural boundaries to provoke introspection and dialogue. Through my work, I seek to reclaim my true identity while inviting others to embark on their own journey of self-discovery.
